Saxophonist Joe Sexton has performed with Joe Morris, Steve Lantner, Allan Chase, Luther Gray, Croix Galipault, James Carson, Joe Williams and others. He recieved his Bachelor of Music degree from the New England Conservatory of Music in 2004. His playing can be heard on the record Fur, by Joe Morris and Natural History, which was released to rave critical reception in 2005.
Multi-faceted trumpeter Jaimie Branch has been making waves on the Chicago improvised music scene since returning to her hometown in early 2006. She has performed with Axel Dorner, Fred Lonberg-Holm, Joe Morris, Tim Daisy and others. She completed her Bachelor of Music degree at the New England Conservatory of Music in 2005. Branch also plays trumpet in the Chicago-based punk band, Tusker. She has toured and performed in this and other bands throughout the U.S.
Drummer/pianist Marc Riordan has performed and recorded with Steve Lacy, Joe Maneri, Joe Morris, Steve Lantner, Dominique Eade, Stan Strickland, Allan Chase, Dave Bryant, and other figures on the jazz and improvised music scene. He completed a Bachelor of Music degree at the New England Conservatory in 2004. He teaches and performs in Boston. In 2004, Riordan co-founded the Music Workshop with saxophonist/composer Dan Blake, a weekly event geared towards collaborative music-making and diverse presentation of styles in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Boston.
Drummer Croix Galipault has performed and recorded with many of today's leading figures in jazz and improvised music, including Daniel Levin, Rob Brown, Joe Morris, Dennis Gonzalez, and Charlie Kohlhase. He currently lives and plays in Boston, where he recieved a Bachelor of Music degree from the New England Conservatory of Music in 2003. His playing can be heard on the record Fur, by Joe Morris and Natural History, which was released to rave critical reception in 2005.
