[Mika Tanaka]
Mika grew up in Aichi, Japan, the daughter of two musical parents.� She began playing the piano at the age of four under her mother, a classical pianist, and later received her Bachelorユs Degree in Piano Performance from the Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music.� She has received awards at numerous piano competitions, including the 50th All-Japan Student Music Competition, and was selected as a finalist at the 12th Annual Japan Piano Teachers Association (JPTA) Piano Audition. Mika has participated in master classes with Michel Beroff and Bruno Rigutto at l'Academie Internationale d'Ete in Nice, as well as at the New York Keyboard Festival with Victor Rosenbaum, with whom she continues to study
today.� Throughout her career, she has also studied with Mioko Kato,
Hitoshi Kobayashi and Hiroshi Aoshima. Although trained as a classical pianist, Mikaユs interest in contemporary music led her to Berklee College of Music, where she is now studying music synthesis.� She has also begun performing as a vocalist, perhaps due in part to the influence of her father, a classical singer.� Mika now plays with her band in the Boston and Tokyo areas while continuing to perform as a classical pianist.

[Miwako Yamanaka]
Ms. Yamanaka was born in Tokyo and began playing violin at the age of five. She received her Bachelors Degree in violin performance from Kunitachi Collage of Music. After coming to the United States, Ms. Yamanaka studied privately with prof. Masuko Ushioda and Peter Zazofsky. She completed Masters of Music at the Longy School of Music and studying with Dana Mazrukevich. Ms. Yamanaka has performed numerous chamber music concerts in New England area and is member of� Kalistos Chamber orchestra and orchestral experience includes Indian Hill Symphony, the Cape Cod Symphony, Plymouth Philharm nic Orchestra, New Bedford Symphony Orchestra and Portland Symphony. Ms. Yamanaka has participated in summer festivals such as the Mozarteum summer festival, Wien� summer music festival in Austria
and Spoleto festival USA.
